Implied Status???????????

Hello All,

Please help me out here.
I'm currently on my Post Graduate Work Permit and it's expiring in March.
I am still waiting for my AOR (i original applied PR through AINP) and I think I'm screwed for that.
Now I want to apply through common law sponsorship (boyfriend is a canadian citizen) along with an open work permit.

Once I've submitted them, can i continue working until my new work permit arrives because I have Implied Status?
or it doesn't work for me in this case and I'll have to quit in March once my visa expires?

I need the answer asap please, as I need to notify my company

No, because your PGWP cannot be extended, you will only have Implied Status as a visitor, not as a worker.

You will need to stop working until the OWP arrives.
