I know, there have been a few threads around this topic, but from my understanding may [as in "is possibly"] means there is a chance to resume work, right?A temporary resident with implied status who has left Canada may:
• be allowed to re-enter Canada as a temporary resident, pending a decision on the renewal of
their application to study or work in Canada, provided they are TRV exempt as per R190 or on
a multiple-entry visa. They may not resume work or study in Canada until their application for
renewal has been granted. For those not able to resume work, they must satisfy the BSO that
they have sufficient means of support. (Note that this applies to foreign nationals who are
TRV exempt as per R190(3)(f) and to those on multiple-entry visas.)
Yes, I could just not take my chances, but I really need to go back to see my folks in Germany (TRV exempt). Despite the fact that I may lose my ability to work until I receive my work permit extension, the following:
- Letter of Approval (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program)
- Request from Manitoba on my behalf for a 1 year visa extension
- Receipt of payment fee for work permit extension
- Canada Post Customer Receipt adressed to CPC Vegreville
- Bank Statement showing $6,500 in my account
- Long-term offer of employment from my current employer
Thank you all in advance!
