Hi all,

I'm on implied status after filing Sponsorship/PR Application and OWP. I'm still working and my company wants to send me to Ottawa for a seminar and I also want to fly out west during the Christmas break.

Does anyone have experience with flying in Canada while on Implied Status? Am I going to have any problems?

Thank you!

Re: Implied Status - Flying withing Canada

No, you won't have problems. As long as you don't leave Canada, your "implied status" is safe.

As Rob posted, no big deal. By the way, you just need a govt issued ID card to fly within Canada....so your status is quite irrelevant.

Hey germangirl, you wont have any problem, we have been from Calgary to Toronto, many times my husband was never asked anything, they just looked at his passport when we boarded (he's from holland) thats all... hope this helps..
