Hi there,

So my visa is expiring in one week, I'm currently on an open work permit valid till March 31st.
I've applied to the Express entry, have been working in BC for +2 years, and currently waiting on the processing time for the BCPnp tech pilot.

Since is so near to my current visa expiry date, I was wondering if is still possible to apply for a Visitor visa,
so I may wait in Canada for my BCPnp answer. (off corse without working).

If so, since is such little time, is it possible to apply online and head to the border and do a flag poll there to acquire the visitor visa?

I hope this make sense,
And thank you so much for everyone's answer and this Forum board,
It have helped me greatly in my research.

Best regards,

Best regards,
You would be applying to change your status from worker to visitor. And, while you wait for a decision on that application, you will be on implied status. There's no need to go to the border

Hi there,

I just got a feedback from BCPnp, essentially saying that my Employer needs to make a
Compelling Business Case in support of a possible nomination" and need to get back to them within couple weeks.

Please, I had found little information and direction about what they need to know for a Compelling business case.
I thought I had provide all the information already.

What is necessary to build a a compelling case?
I mean, what other information should I provide? What are the things they would like to know?

Or point out guidelines to that, for I have found only a very brief description.

It would be great if anyone could help me with that, or possibly provide a example?

Thank you all so much for the help in this forum.

You should re-post in the PNP Immigration section
