Implied status and citizenship

Greetings,

I would like to apply for the citizenship, but I am extremely nervous about it. I have a few questions, I would be grateful if someone can help me to find answers to them.

1) I came to Canada on Temporary Foreign Worker Visa in 2013. The Visa expired in August 2015. I applied for renewal of the visa (before expiration of old) and stayed on “implied status” for 1.5 month. Then I received my Permanent Residence (before the TFW Visa was renewed and there was no need to renew it anyways. The CIC never renewed it after I sent them scan of Record of Landing). How do I deal with this 1.5 month of “implied status” when I enter my data in the Presence calculator? I am afraid of some problems. Do you suggest to write an explanation letter? Which date I put as "TFW expiration date"?

2) As I said, I came to Canada in 2013 on Temporary Worker Visa, then changed it to PR (I have been PR for 3 years). I have never traveled outside of the country. What dates do I need to put as my “eligibility period”? The date when I came as a worker or the date when I got PR?

3) I have 2 passports of my home country. One is expired, other is new. They ask for copies of biographical pages of passports. I have some visas in my old, expired passport (older than 5 years, before I came to Canada). Do I need to make copies of these? I have never travelled outside of Canada during my residence.

4) Photo ID – a copies of both sides of my Driver’s license as sufficient as PhotoID.

5) My UCI – this number can be found on my PR card? Am I right?

6) The list of required documents is really very short – filled form, passport photos, copies of passports, copy of Photo ID, receipt? Do I need to include anything else, like copy of PR card etc?

You advise is very much appreciated. It all looks quite simple, but I am somehow very worried.

Implied status is very common, you need to include every piece of information such as application number date, outcome of the renewal,
Your eligibility period will start from the day you entered canada as TFW but within the last 5 years.
Passports give all details if the PP was renewed within your eligibilty period.
Photo ID copies from both sides
UCI is right on your PR card or your TFW -work permit or your record of landing. Hope this helps. all the best!

2) The mandatory physical presence calculator output will tell you what your eligibility period is. Use those dates. https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/rescalc/resCalcStartNew.do

You only need to mail the copy of your latest passport, but you'll have to bring both during to test/interview.

4) Photo ID – a copies of both sides of my Driver’s license as sufficient as PhotoID.
Yes, as long as you also provide a copy of your latest passport biographical page.

5) My UCI – this number can be found on my PR card? Am I right?
Correct.

Yes. It doesn't require too many documents, especially you never change your name or travel outside of Canada.
They used to require a copy of PR card or CoPR; but not in the checklist anymore.
And BTW, don't forget to include proof of language abilities if applicable. i.e. diploma, IELTS/CELPIP/TEF report.

All the best!
