This is moreso a general question. I am not seeing much information about what happens if a person decides to not restore and leave Canada instead. For example, let's say a family had applied for an extension on their SP and SOWP and it was refused and they decided to leave Canada a week or 2 after. If the Spouse who was on SOWP has received LMIA approval shortly after leaving Canada. Could not restoring and choosing to leave and apply from outside Canada harm their chances of everyone being able to successfully receive new permits if they qualify? Would it be considered an offense to not restore even though they left Canada, or would it be harmful for future applications?
