Impact on the 5 year ban (Misrepresentation) towards the other countries

Guys please let me know if i found Inadmissible to Canada for a minor mistake and received a 5 year ban.
I wanted to know if apply for Australian student visa for my higher studies (PHD) will this lead to rejection? Or whats the impact on the ban?

Might be better to ask this question in an Australia forum but for sure expect you will need to declare this ban and support with a letter of explanation why the ban was issued given 5 years is pretty significant penalty even if not a criminal offence. Not declaring anything like this if asked will of course result in more issues so ultimately no way of predicting an outcome just be honest.
