Hi Fellow Members

I have applied for PR under express entry along with my spouse under FSW Class. I was the principal applicant. I and my spouse both got CORP and VISA approved. I being residing in Canada did flagpole and have done the landing. My question is :-

Q. If my spouse decides not to come to Canada before the validity of her PR Visa:-

a. What will be the consequences on my landing, provided i have already landed and got my new sin and health card number issued. Although still waiting to receive PR Card (I assume i will receive PR Card before the expiry of my spouse's PR Visa?
b. Do I have to inform CIC if she will not land? if she will not come, what will be the ideal time to inform CIC?
c. In our culture, husband has to go backhome and pickup the spouse. If I will not be able to get PR by the time her PR Visa validity expires, her family will not send her alone to Canada, in that case when do I have to inform CIC about she is not coming.
d. My spouse will be ban from Canada if she will not come? if yes for how long?
e. If she will not land, her PR will get void? if yes then later Can I file her PR by any other process later.
f. We have no discussion of separation yet, but incase in future, would it impact my PR. Please note, my EE points were reduced due to her and i did not get any benefit from her so i believe not? Is this right?

Your valuable responses will be highly appreciated.

Thank you fellow members !!!!

Q. If my spouse decides not to come to Canada before the validity of her PR Visa:-

a. What will be the consequences on my landing provided i already landed and got my new sin and health card number. Although still waiting to receive PR Card (I assume i receive PR Card just before the expiry of her Visa? A:No consequences. But what is the reason of your expectation that your PR should arrive before her PR expires??
b. Do I have to inform CIC if she will not land? A:No
c. In our culture, husband has to go backhome and pickup the spouse. If I will not be able to get PR by the time her PR Visa validity expires, her family will not send her alone for Canada, in that case when do I have to inform CIC about she is not coming. A:It seems to me that you have already made up your mind that she won't be coming to Canada at all. Also what makes you think/assume that you cannot leave Canada to escort her from her home country and re-enter into Canada.
d. my spouse will be ban from Canada if she will not come. A: No, not at all.
e. If she will not land, her PR will get void? if yes then later Can I file her PR by any other process later. A: Yes, on a spouse sponsored visa
f. We have no discussion of separation yet, but incase in future, would it impact my PR because my EE points were reduced due to her and i did not get any benefit from her so i believe not? Is this right? A: I guess No, if i understand your question correctly.

Your valuable responses will be highly appreciated.

to reply to your concerns on my post CanadaWeCome, here is the explanation:-

Your Question: But what is the reason of your expectation that your PR should arrive before her PR expires?

Because I have landed in last week of Feb 16, and my PR might come before the expiry of her validity based current processing time of PR Card.

Your Question: Also what makes you think/assume that you cannot leave Canada to escort her from her home country and re-enter into Canada.

I have already used my immigrant visa while doing flagpole, no i can not reenter into Canada without PR Card, becuase i do not have any Canadian valid visa on my passport.
Your Question: A:It seems to me that you have already made up your mind that she won't be coming to Canada at all.

Well not 100%, However based on the mind set of my spouse I want to be ready for the worst. However, If she will just come to Canada i will be very happy. I honestly dont know where things will go this point.

A:What makes you think you cannot leave Canada till you physically receive your PR Card? You can arrange to get it couriered to you wherever you maybe.

But I heard it is not allowed to ship PR Card abroad? Also is not safe if anything goes wrong with shipment.

My Question which is not yet answered: Do i have to inform CIC if she will not land, if Yes, when?

A: That's not correct, in fact most people do it since the TAT for PR card these days is almost 4 months.

Who said your question was not answered, please re-read my first response and/or check above.
