That's a good news today morning.

http ://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/PM-Modi-addresses-Indian-community-in-Toronto/articleshow/46939829.cms?

I hope "HR" status of India (If it is there) is not more and EE profiles would be processed faster, whats you say on this?

Am I getting this wrong?? It looks like Canadians are getting visa on arrival in India. Not the other way round. Please correct me.

Nowhere does the article mention Visa on Arrival for Indians.
There was news a few weeks back regarding people of Indian origin getting Visa on Arrival in India.

This is not a visa on arrival. It is an e-visa facility by Indian Government extended to Canadian passport holders. Indian passport holders do not get visa on arrival in Canada.

There is something coming up on the other side too. But except TOI no one confirmed it.

The article did mention visa on arrival for Indians when it was first published, they have since changed it. I have a screenshot of the old version and the new one is what is up on the website.
There will be no visa on arrival for Indians going to Canada.

This is the old version of the article
