I'm yet to submit my transcripts, waiting for engg univ transcripts to arrive. If they don't approve yours then no use going for IQAS, will be better off will WES since its much quicker.

Pls make sure that IMTCDL stamped should be of Controller of Examinations else it will be rejected...

Where did you get this info? I opened my one of my transcripts as I have multiple copies, it was stamped by Dean and not the controller of examinations. BTW since you are saying did your IMTCDL diploma got recognized?

I have seen in this thread multiple people saying that IMT CDL is not recognized by WES. I did some research and asked my immigration consultant to check for the same. As per them, IMT CDL is recognized by WES. Refer to attached screenshot

Some people did suggest it got rejected buy as per the screenshot looks IMT CDL is in the list .. Has anyone tried recently from WES ?

I raised this issue with WES that IMTCDL is present in their dropdown list also which is misleading . Moreover I provided the UGC links for IMTCDL recognition. This is what I gave WES :

As per the Indian statutory body "UGC" , the institute is recognized . The recognition info is available on UGC website also . The recognition can be verified from the below links from the UGC website . http://www.ugc.ac.in/ http://www.ugc.ac.in/deb/ http://www.ugc.ac.in/deb/pdf/Recognition''20for''202016-17-''20DEB.pdf http://www.ugc.ac.in/pdfnews/6610074_IMT-Distance-and-Open-Learning-Instt,-Ghaziabad-(23.11.16).pdf


But even then they rejected the same . This is the reply that I got :


Please be advised that in the opinion of World Education Services the status of Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad - Centre for Distance Learning is not comparable to a recognized institution in Canada.


We reviewed your evaluation report and confirmed that it is correct. We would like to emphasize that WES evaluations are advisory opinions and not binding upon any institution or organization.

My husband got his soft copy from WES yeaterday.
he has done 1yr MBA from IMT distance learning.

Anyone has got IMTCDL degree evaluated from anywhere else other than WES?

No we applied and yeaterday we got aoft copy repory from wes for ECA which says that one year of post secondary study from non recoognized univeristy.

From my personal experience and what I've read in many threads, WES doesn't recognize distance education from private institutes in India . Many of us in this thread have applied for an evaluation from IQAS after getting a negative evaluation from WES . Please wait for a few days and once there is positive news from IQAS, apply for your husband's ECA from IQAS .
