Hello everyone,

This notion of there not being an FSW 2014 has been triggered by the fact that most CIC visa offices across are currently facing high backlogs, the situation was aggravated by the recent PAFSO strike. So 2014 is being considered the year to clear all the pending cases in most VOs and make way for the new more efficient EOI system. Then CIC issued the following backgrounder which seems to enforce this possibility.

Also note that the proposed date of launch for the EOI system is Jan 2015 and not May 2015. This means that the usual one year cycle is not there between April 2014 to May 2015 to accommodate an FSW.

Though it is bad news, it is helpful to take decision. .
Actually, I heard it one of consultants that next year April these occupations would be reopened.
I dont know what will be happened.
Is there any state which can give nomination for PR of my occupation?

As loncan has rightly said, it is still advisable to start preparing your documents. A door of opportunity has been opened by Saskatchewan, go through the application guide provided by loncan and apply if you satisfy the requirements. Best of luck.

One more thing, When I am applying in WES,
I have to send:
1. Certificate
2. Transcript
but I dont understand
3. For completed doctoral programs, a letter confirming the awarding of the degree To be sent directly to WES by the institutions attended.
What it means?

Dear rumel,

If you are going for WES; you need to apply FSWP credential assessment report:

http://www.wes.org/ca/fswp/index.asp

after making payment you will get a “ID number” and you need to fill up the WES FSWP application form which is also available when you apply for FSWP credential assessment report.

You need to visit your graduation awarding college/ university with “this document”, “Transcript” & “Certificate”.

Your institute will attested all three documents and SEAL those in an Envelope. Later you need to send this package to WES mailing address.

That’s the whole process. Once WES receive those documents and if they fell they need to make any inquiry with your Institution, they will make it.
Once they are satisfied they will issue you the assessment report within 7 days.

Thanks for ur information. I already filled up the application but I dont understand what "this document" means?
You meant the application form?
Should I submit the application and pay the fee for assessment before sending the credentials from university?

Can you guys please help me by giving any template or samples for Occupation 2174?
It is required so that I can manage the experience certificate or employment letter with properly described of occupation 2174.
Actually, I want to write my roles and responsibility according the occupation with existing designation

immasum is referring to the payment confirmation document which you can download as a pdf file once you have paid the fees on-line at WES website. It is to accompany your application package to WES. Read your country specific requirements very carefully. You may be required to a set of copies from your side, besides the university sealed envelope.

There are several guidelines available on line for the ref letter. Just make sure to include all the points asked in the document checklist. And do nto copy the description given on HRSDC website.

I have checked Saskatchewan but achieved 58 points out of 70 where pass mark is 60.
