Unfortunately, Canada doesn't accept diplomas for nursing. It must be a 4 year bachelor degree. Your wife will need to upgrade.

There are other people here that live in Calgary as well, such as myself and scorpion_ca...........

As far as I know, Canada stopped accepting nurses with 2 or 3 year diplomas years ago. My ex-husband (I am actually a woman - the Sir is a joke!) has a 2 year diploma for nursing. He used to talk about how he wanted to move to Canada.... and now I just shake my head at him.

She will need to take a bridge course to get her bachelor's degree in nursing science. Most likely, she will get credit for her diploma and have a shorter program than if she was to start new. You can contact a university like Mt. Royal and talk to advisors. They will be able to give you the best answers.
