Immigration Query

All,

I have got my visa and looking forward to book my flight.
I am planning to take a flight form new delhi India to Victoria which has a stop and a plane change at Toronto.
My query is if there is a change in Toronto then my Study permit and Immigration activities will take place at Toronto or i will allowed to change the plane and can do these formalities at Victoria Airport.

As if the formalities will take place at Toronto then i should have good time between the flights as i am expecting minimum 2-3 hours at immigration desk.

Would appreciate response quickly so that i can book my tickets.

It takes 30-40 mins.
And immigration officer just talk for maximum 10 minutes.

Is it necessary that one must enter through Toronto? If I get cheaper flight through Vancouver to Victoria, (or flight to Vancouver only and then through ferry service to Victoria) would it be any issue?

Your student permit will be processed in your Canadian point of entry. It does not matter if you enter Canada through Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary or Montreal. I think entering Canada via Vancouver will be easier since Victoria is just a short distance away... just a suggestion...

It isnt necessary to enter via toronto.
Vancouver is ideal for students of victoria.
I my self have booked a flight on 3rd sep, cathay pacific, khi to vancouver ,and then gona take bus or ferry, and ur frm pak i guess so,cathay pacifc is best. If u need help.do tel me , private mesage me,
