Hi all,

Immigration office in Paris have requested me to submit the new updated forms and the supporting docs within 4 months from letter's date.

Regarding the proof of funds, unfortunately I have spent a lot of money recently and I have no enough money in my bank account for time being. Can I borrow the required amount to get the proof of fund? I am thinking of putting different amounts in the next 3 months in my bank account then ask for bank statement for past 2 or 3 months. What is you advice?

In addition, I registered for ILETS and TEF exams but the results will not be ready before the period I have got to send my docs. I will send registration letters for both exams then I will send the results later. Is that works fine? or I have to do something else?

Please advice.

Thanks

i think as long as the money is for you to use, it doesn't matter how you secure it (as long as its legal lol).
Is there no way that you can take the IELTS and TEF before the four months are up even in another city.

Actually No, for TEF I already registered in another country since there is no school run TEF exam.

For ILETS, there is an exam date erlier but just for academic ILETS.

Then in that case, i would suggest sending a letter to talk about your proficiency in each of those languages as well as the test dates.

Hi there

Well, for the tests, yes you can send registration and explain that you will send the results later, it is acceptable, we do that for our clients with no issues.
But for proof of funds you will have to be cautious, because you have to show that you are having enough money to support yourself if granted visa.

The Government of Canada does not provide financial support to new skilled worker immigrants.

You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your dependants after you arrive in Canada. You cannot borrow this money from another person. You must be able to use this money to support the costs of living for your family.

You will need to provide proof of your funds to the Canadian visa office in your home country when you submit your application for immigration.

The amount of money you need to support your family is determined by the size of your family. These amounts are updated every year.

Number of
Family Members Funds Required
(in Canadian dollars)
1 $10,833
2 $13,486
3 $16,580
4 $20,130
5 $22,831
6 $25,749
7 or more $28,668

You do not have to show that you have these funds if you have arranged employment in Canada.

Also, you will have to show bank statements for four- 6 months, with no large deposits and no recent deposits.
My best suggestion, try depositing small amounts in a gap of two weeks, because two weeks is pay time here and it looks legitimate.

Gud luck

yes but that would still look like you are only depositing every two weeks now rather than having it done all this time. They could always add up the deposits and see that it is equal to the total and in that case, wouldn't they be suspicious?

Anyway, i had only sent one bank statement. Perhaps they would come back for more, which is okay but i have to pay for everystatement :(.

can you ute a credit report statement that shows how much you have in the account, or do you need a statement that gives a print out of the recent transactions that occured?
