Immigration Medical for visitors

My parents have both received the IMM1017 form via email as they are extending their stay as visitors.

Their extension is approved and they have been asked to complete medicals within 30 days of the receipt of email. I checked nearby approved doctors and all of them are booked for 2 months.

My parents leave Canada in 30 days. Will it be an issue if I do not complete the medicals as asked?

Is this something that determines re-entry?

I have same issue with my parents extension. It’s approved and leaving in 30 days. What did u do?

I don't think it will be an issue not completing the medicals at this time but they will subsequently need to do the medicals. The extension doesn't grant them re-entry except they had a multi entry visa in which they can come back into Canada

@canworker and @BHUMI- Did your parents do medicals and then leave Canada or did they just leave?
