Are there any special circumstances why you would need a lawyer? Just complete the application yourself. It was fairly straightforward. We had no problems at all filling out and gathering documents ourselves and it only took 2,5 months from AOR to COPR.
As long as you can read and have no special circumstances, there is really nothing an immigration lawyer would do differently.
