Hey Guys,

I went to one lawyer and he informed me that the Interview process has been waived for all applicatns who are approved by Sydney. Is that a fact? No more interviews? In Short no more interviews for all canidates??

Kind Regards,

Alice.

Dear alice_chained,

Can you please ask your lawyer to provide proof/supporting for statement "Interview process has been waived for all applicatns who are approved by Sydney" since i haven't came across any such statement in CIC web/media posting so far?

well, if interview is ever waived in the future for all applicants, this will only happen when they can ascertain when all information provided by the candidates is absolutely true. This means, the process actually will get harder and longer (if we ever get to the stage that interview is discarded). This won't be good new :)

Logically, this doesn't make sense because Sydney checks only the basics. We don't send any supporting documents there, just 'claims.' If it had been at the respective visa offices, then it'd have made sense because they get to verify everything. But, I don't think anyone has completed that stage yet. There is no mention of this waiver in the official websites either. So, it's more than likely that the lawyer is making up his own rules.

the lawyer would be saying the truth if he said " interview may be waived in some instances"

its true in 90 percent of cases in the old system.

Cannot be true. The Sydney office does nothing but checking your duties and NOC code against the Ministrial instructions! An interview might be waived if the officers are pretty sure about your qualifications. Therefore, an interview request may mean there is something that needs to be clarified or verified.
