While creating the profile in the personal details section there is the below question:

"Has Mr. XXXX YYYY applied to Citizenship and Immigration Canada before?" The options are either a Yes or a No. Now if I have been to Canada on a tourist visa in the past would the answer to this question be a Yes?

If Yes is selected, the next question is "Have you applied for express extry" which I haven't so the answer is an obvious No.

Lastly it asks for UIC unique identifier code if yes has been selected

Thanks,
Dan

Just checked my old visa...didn't see anything which looks like a UCI....any idea where it would be on a visa and what is it called there?

Just checked my scan copy of work permit. On your visa, there might be a number at right bottom. It is just a number and doesn't have any label attached to it. It is generally 8 digit number.

Sorry if I am being petty the only 8 digit number i see towards the bottom of my tourist visa is

C.REC / Rec.F
FPA 00000000

The number for Rec.F is an 8 digit number is this the UCI?

Perfect, that's the one.
