immigration for mother

Hi all,

i have mother, wife adn son at home. If i apply for immigration i will include my wife and son in application but what about my mom? Can she be included in application?

FYI, my mom is dependent on me.

You can petition your mother once you establish your residence in Canada. For the meantime, it will be your wife and son that can be included as dependent on your application.

Please if you also advice whether Immigration officer can refuse my immigration visa based on the fact that my mother would be the only one at my home who would be left behind and her immigration would be conditional upon my imcome in canada which would be uncertain when the immigration officer would be assessing my case.

1. No, you application for your wife and child would not be refused because your mother is remaining home alone.
2. You realize that it will take years to sponsor your mother after you meet the LICO? A minimum of 23 months before the sponsorship will be looked at in Mississauga, and then the overseas processing.

If you are lucky upon arrival in canada and got employed for approximately 100K, I believe that is more than enough right?
Do you know the exact figure for LICO?
