Immigration File Returned?

Since my spousal case has been refused after the interview..

Does my whole file including all supporting documents be returned to me or my spouse? There are some things in there that are original such as tickets and boarding passes etc..

YES they will return everything original and copies as well I think.

I think it depends on the VO as some keep all supporting proofs and others return them at the end also please keep in mind in the event you reapply or appeal they would need evidence to substantiate their claim of being non-genuine so items may not be returned to you if you look at it that way, however Birth certificate and marriage certifcate they have to return anything else they do not have to return as those you would not need the other documents that might have sentimental values to you may not be returned

I hope they do return them tho its the least they can do

My wife (the applicant abroad) received everything back with her stamped passport including all original docs, pictures, and photocopies (they didn't need). They kept some photocopies, but returned most of the supporting docs I sent with the initial application.
