Immigration fee ($1040) got refunded back

Hi,
I submitted my PR file under express entry (CEC) on 28 July 2015 and paid Immigration fee ie $1040 by my sister's credit card.
But to my surprise, $1040 got refunded back on 26th Aug 2015 and in mycic account, my medical status is still showing IN PROGRESS.

I also confirmed with medical office if there's some issue with my medical but they confirmed that every this is good and transmitted my medical ontime to CIC.

Can anyone else is in same situation?
I'm worried as CIC has told to wait 30 business days to response for email.

Did you try calling CIC? If not, give it a try
This is weird. It could be a system glitch too. I don't think they refund the fee that quick if there is anything wrong with the file. I really hope this is not the case. Good luck

if they refunded your fee., than your application should have been canceled.. that is weird.

ps. my fees were refunded in 3 weeks after my application was canceled

This could be your sisters bank, if the transaction looks suspicious they may charge it back (this should be with your sisters consent, but banks can be trigger happy about this - I work with CC transactions and this happens more often than you think without the cardholder being aware)

A chargeback is basically a forced refund on a transaction, CIC may not even be aware it's happened yet depending on how their systems communicate with each other. Contact CIC immediately (I would try calling them as well as your email, though I've heard bad things about their call centre) and find out if they issued the refund. If they didn't, let them know what happened and hopefully they can make a note on your account - the bank would be your most likely culprit in that case. It should just be a matter of them re-billing you from there

I got response from CIC on 9 feb 2016 after submitting my express entry profile on 28 July and they requested for payment receipt and employemnt letter but again my bad luck and this time on submitting these documents online through mycic portal, I am getting SYSTEM ERROR.
I submiited case specific enquiry for this issue but still did not received any response.
This time CIC told me to submit these docs by 26 Feb 2016.
Not sure what's going to happen to my application.

Anyone out there can please suggest!

You might have but still asking, Have you tried using different browser?

I have seen issues with document upload section on particular browsers.
