I don't know but I firmly believe this forum and your own research can help you file your application without a consultant...Mandie

You do not need an immigration lawyer or a consultant to immigrate to Canada.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/facts/representatives.asp

its depend on consultant/agent/lawyer it would be $1500 to $4500 max.
you can file yourself without any consultant/lawyer.

OMM

Although there are of course a few very good immigration lawyers/consultants - there are also a lot of incompetent and even fraudulent ones out there. I've heard of people's applications failing purely because of the incompetences of the immigration consultants involved.

Even if they are good, their charges to prepare a file IMO are not worth it unless you have a particularly complex case.

Do yourself a favour and save yourself some money and prepare the file yourself. It may look scary to begin with but it is not really that hard, especially with forums such as this to act as backup! :)

Best of luck with your application.

Agree with all the comments above but here you go if you need an estimate - As I see that your VO is New Delhi,

Global Visas = Rs 75,000
Canam = Rs 69,000
International Academy = Rs 69,000
SK Consultants = Rs 60,000

and yes, you might be wondering if I was crazy to call each one - I did!! before deciding to go ahead without a consultant - saved a dent in my pocket !

They all negotiate

For example canam asked 70K from me and agreed at 42000.

ultimately they are all nothing more than a courier company who know nothing

Oh really ! I did not know we could negotiate with them . Did you then go ahead with them after letting them agree to 42K ?
If not, you just took them for a ride - poor chaps ;D

You need consultant if your case is complicated,
if your case is simple and straight forward you can fill the forms yourself.
Hire Canadian immigration lawyer and not consultant, if some problem arises the former can go to court without extra charge, the consultant can not
The Canadian immigration lawyer should be registered.
Read the small print of the contract before signing.
Never pay whole fee upfront, always negotiate instalments even if you end up paying more.
Why? because once you pay whole fee upfront the courier service become snail mail.
Canadian immigration business is down so you can negotiate a good deal.

it all depends on the consultants how much they want to cheat......and also how much dumb we look to them.............

Hope this will clarify....
