Hi all,

I completed my masters from Canada in Petroleum in June 2011 and living in Canada for last two years and so. I also have two years work experience from back home. And I recently got a job related to my profession. I did a security supervisor job from January 2011 to October 2011. I am applicable to skilled worker class. I want to ask that should I apply in it or should wait for 6 months or 12 months to become applicable in Canadian experience class/provincial nominee class! I want to get PR as soon as possible.

Please guide me your help would be really appreciated.

yeah its right 12 months minimum is required for Canadian Immigration Class, but I can apply in Skilled worker class right now because I have 2 years experience related to my education. And I have completed masters degree in Canada. And my point becomes near 84 as I also have permanent job offer.

And my second question is that should I apply in Provincial nominee class or Canadian Experience class? As I will be applicable in Alberta nominee program after 5 months?

Please reply.

If you have your permanent job since Janueary you may be eleigible to apply for canadian exprience class Janueary 2012 and that would be 2-3 month from now

I had been working since January 2011. But I got my post graduate work permit in May 2011. From January 2011 to April 2011 I was working full time on permanent job but it was on off Campus work permit as my status at that time was student.

And Secondly I just changed my job in November 2011. It is also permanent full time position.

So does 2 jobs can fulfil the the 12 months requirement?

And

And will that 4 months (January 2011 to April 2011) which I worked on my off campus work permit/study permit count? Or I have to start counting from May 2011?

Thanks in adavance.

No, that doesnot count, It should be all after your graduation and off campus work doesn't count in canadian exprience class. Means it counts after May 2011 if your first job is qualified.
You may find all you need about canadian exprience class from the link below, scroll down to the exprience requirement for graduates:

Actually, that's not true. Because the experience was gained after graduation from the post-secondary credential, it can be counted towards the 12 months for CEC eligibility even if it was obtained on an OCWP. The graduate is able to work full time on the OCWP AFTER graduating and while waiting for the PGWP.

The key is that the work experience took place AFTER graduation.
