Hi everyone

I am registered pharmacist in Turkey and I want to immigrate canada as a pharmacist. I sended my documents PEBC. After document evaluation, i will attemp Bridging program in UBC and after that I have to pass qualification exam. I have to be in Canada for qualification exams but I do not have any type of visa However, I have some question.
1- How can I go to Canada for exams?
2- After getting my pharmacy license in canada, does this license bring me additional points in express entry?
3-As far as I understand, I can get a student visa with co- work visa for the bridging program, but this visa expires 90 days after the education ends. Can I extend this visa to stay in Canada and take exams?

1. Visitor visa
2. No extra points
3. What program at UBC? Is this the International Dental Degree Completion Program (IDDCP)? If so it is closed and not known if it will start up again. U of T has one where you take 6 months and then two years of dental school.

thanks for your answer. The program called Canadian Pharmacy Practice Program (CP3). This includes 12 weeks of classroom instruction, a 12.5-week Structured Practical Training (SPT). total duration of CP3 is 24.5 week. I will get study co work permit for attend this course but after ending this course, my visa will expire in 90 day. Can i apply for Post-graduation work permit after finishing CP3 or the only way is express entry?

Sorry was thinking Dental programs! If program is under 6 months then you are not eligible for a PGWP.

SO THAT MEANS I CAN APPLY PGWP BECAUSE THE CP3 IS LONGER THAN 6 MONTHS. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME I WAS LOOKING EVERYWHERE FOR THAT INFORMATION.

Plus if it was 6 months, you would only get a 6 months PGWP which would not give really give you any extra points.

foreign trained pharmacy programs don’t qualify for a study permit. Canada has a surplus of pharmacists and one of the few professions where salaries have been decreasing over the past 10+ years. Some of the information available online about things like salary are much higher than in reality.
