Hello All,
As my subject states, I live in the USA (on a H1B - Work Permit Status) and I have my parents visiting me now and then from India. My parents have a liking to move out of India and settle in Canada now and I am confused as to what the possibilities of this move could be.
My father is a retired professional. He has a degree in Veterinary science, dairy technology and excellent knowledge of agriculture and Banking. He had served in the leading bank in India for 28 years and he recently retired from service. My mother is a home-maker. Although my father is very enthusiastic to work for several more years, we are confused if he would be able to find a job with the professional experience he has on hand and if he would be recognized by Immigration Services, Canada to be able to receive a resident status.
I am very confused as to how to make this work. I have heard families from India immigrating to Canada, but, I would really like to know what are the positives of taking this forward and hurdles if any.
Any advice, pointers or help in this regard is highly appreciated!!
Thanks & Regards,
Ragh
