Express Entry involves a two-step process:
Step one requires potential candidates to submit an expression of interest in immigrating to Canada by uploading an electronic profile to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The profiles of eligible candidates are placed in the Express Entry pool, where they are ranked according to a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).
