Hi,

I need to ask everyone if they have ever used the service from Immigrant consultant in the Lower Mainland.

How much is the average service cost?

Has anyone ever used the service from CanApprove Immigration Consulting Service, which is located in Richmond, BC?

Thank you for your attention

Haven't used a lawyer/representative/consultant for my application and I had no problems filling
out the forms and filing the application myself.
I would recommend downloading the forms and starting on your own and see how it goes.
This could save you A LOT of money.

Check my website, a great source of information regarding CEC applications:
Also, when filling out forms, follow the document checklist:
and the instruction guide, which contains instructions on how to fill every single needed form
>> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your resources.

The reason I am thinking of hiring a lawyer is that I am not sure what is my NOC code for my position.

Do you have any suggestion?

My suggestion is to obtain some basic information from a Lawyer first, like getting recommendations on NOC, then prepare most of the application yourself. Maybe get a lawyer to review your application before submitting to make sure everything is correct.

From my experience with lawyers and consultants, they won't care about your application as much as you do, and they make mistakes as well. some forms such as background declaration, you will be the one who knows the best about your own background information.

that's only my opinion. :)

my co-employee hired a lawyer & he paid $2,500.00. It's expensive and as ok123 said, they don't thoroughly checked your documents and you will end up paying them more.

What title does your work permit say? Just for NOC code, you don't need to spend that much. We are very lucky to have this forum which answered many of our questions.

I obtained Post-Graduate Work Permit, so I do not have title on the permit.

My employer is willing to help me to get PR, but I have difficulty to determine the right NOC for my duty.

What happen if I choose the wrong NOC on my application? Will the immigration Canada ask me to fix it or just return my application back to me?

Also, I am thinking of getting Immigration Consultant instead of lawyer since they charge their service lower than the lawyer's, if I have not get the right NOC yet till the end of August
