IMM5669E - Visa refusal for family member

Guys -

section 6 on IMM5669E form states that:

Have you, or, if you're the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for PR in Canada, ever:

d) been refused, refugee status, immigrant status, PR visa or PNP application or visitor visa to Canada or any other country?

Question: what does the word *Family* mean here?
a) My wife & children accompanying me?
b) or my parents and sibling whose information is also disclosed in the application?

if b) do i have to tell them whose visa was rejected and how many times etc etc?? i'm confused.

It means direct family: wife and children, who are listed in people accompanying you to Canada
