Hey Everyone!
Happy Canada Day! I just have two questions for everyone, I need there experience with this question, For the Personal History section, from 2008 to 2010 (what she was doing for the last 10 years) she was looking for work during this time, has anyone had experience with CIC taking issue with her looking for work for 2 years after getting out of university? and would I just say Un-employed and looking for work? also, the 2nd part for Passports she sent me the original passport photo digitally the Photographer took for her, but no stamp on the back, so would I include a .doc (online submission) with all the info on the back? address of photography studio, DOB, date taken, etc? thank you so much guys for always helping me out! you're a great resource and hope you have a lovely Canada Day...

1.) If she was unemployed.....fill "unemployed" under Activity Type......refer......spousal sponsorship guide.....IMM5669.....Personal Details....

Give details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent.

Start with the most recent information. Under “Job/Activity, Title, Position”, write your occupation or job title if you were working.

Important: Be specific when you are describing your job/occupation or other activities. For example, an entry of “working,” “employee,” or “employed” for “job/activity” are not acceptable.

If you were not working, give information about what you were doing (for example: unemployed, studying, travelling, retired, in detention, etc.). If you were outside your country of nationality, write your status in that country.

2.) The photo must meet the required specification, else it may result in delays.......handwritten information on the back of the photo is acceptable.

Refer.........Permanent resident photos........The back of one photo must include:
  • the subject’s name and date of birth
  • the name and complete address of the photography studio
  • the date the photograph was taken
The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.

Thank you so much for your help, for passport photo requirements I had read in the pdf you are supposed to give to the photographer that it said that you could also write the information into a text file, do you have any experiance with that?

write the information into a text file.....what......don't no about that.......won't the application be sent by mail or courier.
