Hello

I am applying for PR under spousal sponsorship. I am currently under work permit in canada. My question is regarding my name. In my work visa, I don't have any "Given name". All I have is a "family name". The problem is the very first question of the form IMM5669E, the form could not be validated, if I don't enter my "given name" (as it is starred "*"). Do anyone else is facing or have faced similar situtaion.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Family name is last name given name is first name. Youre saying you go only by your last name and have no first name?

Yes, my work visa have no first name. It's blank.

Then i guess i would leave it blank. It has to match your passport. So whatever is in your passport

I would put something there to hold the place like an asterisk or even your family name as well. You could call CPC ( case processing center )To confirm .

Yes you are right. I tried leaving it blank. But this form needs to be validated and it won't let me validate because first name needs to be filled as it is asterisked.
