My brother invites my parents to visit him in Canada.His date of birth is July 1980 and mine is 1982.but it was mistaken by school 1981 ( 7 months difference only)no one noticed until he first came to Canada in 2008.and in the additional family information for siblings our representative put mine wrong (not sure which year).and I came to Canada in 2012 as a PR and I put my siblings information his DOB 1980 the right one.Now my parents need to fill their IMM 5645 and they don't know if they put mine 1982 then my brother is 1981 I am scared can they cross check all the information or not.does it have any effect on our PR.Does it count as a misrepresentation of information. Please help

All birth dates must match the ones stated in the passports and/or the birth certificates, not school records.

You must state your brother's correct date of birth in your parents' TRV forms + include a small explanation about the incorrect date stated for your brother's visa apps.

Depending on whether you or your brother is inviting your parents, do include the relevant birth certificate and/or copy of your/his passport (as proof of relationship to your parents).

Nothing to worry about. No, it won't affect your PR nor is it misrepresentation. That said, your brother would want to correct this incorrect date in his records with IRCC

Obeviously they have to put passport dob otherwise it is offence in india to give wrong information for passport. Just use passport details.

Not sure but I think 1981 because he didn't had the birth certificate before and because the records were spoiled in the fire and he had to submit his school certificate to get the birth certificate

I had my original birth certificate which shows 1982 and the second fact was he was born at home in a village there was no proper documentation and mine was in a hospital so I got mine

I suggest you maintain the dates mentioned in the passports + the short explanation. You'll be fine. Don't worry
