Hey guys,
I'm filling out my CEC application I am going to submit later on this year and I'm kinda stuck.
This form asks for all trips in the last 10 years or since the age of 18, the latter applies to me.
I am from Europe and to travel in Europe we don't need a passport, hence no stamps or VISAs in my passport.
I did A LOT of weekend/day trips to countries all over Europe like Italy, Spain, France, Greece etc and
I won't be able to recall all trips.
Is it necessary to provide information about day/weekend trips too? What if I can't remember all of them, since
7 years is a long time...

Any ideas?

Thanks a ton!

I had the same problem (Also have an EU passport).

Do your very best and make educated guesses. Look through emails, photos, try and find flight or booking confirmations etc. Ask the people you went with..

I added a note at the bottom of the additional page and wrote something similar to the following: *Please note these dates are as accurate as possible but some my vary slightly*

I think as long as you haven't been anywhere 'dodgy' then you should be fine. I may be wrong- but this is what I did. Hope it helps

Thanks a lot, Paul! That's all I can do, I might find pictures and stuff but we did DAY trips to italy and stuff.
So there's no booking confirmations or anything, don't even know if I took pictures that day.
But again, how do they know? I've traveled all over Europe but have never been to 'dodgy' countries.
And it's possible to attach extra sheets right? Because that's going to be a long list of travels...

I'm right there with you guys. Just like Paul said...do your best to record trips/dates that you can. Make sure you attach an explanatio/cover letter that explains why your information is not accurate. Luckily for me, I went to countries outside of EU, so I could piece together a fair amount. But, if you only travelled within EU, try your best to come up with at least semi-accurate info.

Also, like Paul put it, if you havent been to 'dodgy places' ( LOL ) and havent witheld that, you shouldnt have problems. The key piece here I think will be the explanation letter. This will give them background.

One, I know for myself that sometimes at border crossings they scanned my passport to authenticate and record. So, those do exists, I'm sure, on some government database, which they can probably requisition (not accessible to us). Two, you may attach extra sheets to include lengthy information. It can be together with your explanation or on a separate sheet. Just make sure to follow the format when attaching additional papers, as specified in the checklist.

Plus, this wouldn't be ther first time someone applied from the EU and had the same issues. Dont worry about it too much.

Thanks for your help guys!! Really appreciate that. All the best with your applications.
