Hi,
This form is too much confusion for me.
If I traveled a lot, and mostly in EU countries, that means I don't have any stamps, so how should I remember where I was, when and how long?
The second question is - how can I add the rows? It just has 6 rows, which is not enough for my travel history, and unfortunately there is not an option of adding rows? Any ideas?
Thank you in advance
So, the easy question first: just make a separate page with a table with the same entries. You can do that in word or excel, for example.
Have you ever applied for a Canadian visa before? Are you an EU citizen? An EU resident? Visa waiver country (to Canada)? Or were you an EU resident?
Okay, I looked (hope you don't mind) and see you're from Georgia.
You should have entry stamps to EU, most of the time, when you entered there. Include everything you can that has stamps in your passports. Include what you can establish.
Then, you can write a
short letter of explanation that you do not have records of travel within the EU (because Schengen) and anything relevant like work or places you resided for extended periods.
We had a complicated situation with my spouse's application because (like me) she travelled
a lot for work. So we also included photocopies of her passport (all pages). And it is a well-known employer (multinational) that we referred to in the letter of explanation. We also attempted to reconstruct (as much as was feasible)
all entries/exits that we could figure out from the passport stamps. (It was at least a bit easier because she'd always been in home country apart from work travel, at least for the relevant period)
Honestly I would
not generally recommend taking this approach - it does not meet/follow the instructions for the travel history, and it really could be rejected. In our specific case, we decided to risk it because my spouse had previously received a TRV (actually a couple I think) and they had asked for this for the TRV application. So we had at least a little bit of confidence that they would be likely to accept.
So I repeat, no guarantees that this will work or be acceptable (although I think it's more likley they'd ask for additional information rather than an outright rejection).
One key warning though: forgetting to show that you visited, say, Amsterdam from Brussels for a day is probably not a big deal. But you really
must disclose any visa refusals or being denied entry to any country.
