Hello! I have a couple of questions about my address history as a sponsor… I have moved around and travelled a lot over the last 5 years and thus have found it easiest to use my parent’s address as my official/mailing address. When he was in Canada my partner (the PA) did the same – both he and I have received official mail there.

•When filling out my address history, should I provide all the addresses I lived at (often for only a few months) and attach a note explaining that I kept my parent’s mailing address?

•I also lived for a time in cabin with no mailing address – and for that reason used my parent’s address – should I explain this as well?

•I also travelled out of Canada during this time (in one case for over a year) – can I keep my parent’s address as mine while I was travelling?

Thank you so much for all the help!

I would do as you have written. Explain your circumstances, saying that at all times you kept your parents' address as your mailing address. For the time you were traveling, that would be normal anyway - you do not have to list each hotel or hostel you stayed at for your address history. For the other places, I would list them - even if you only stayed somewhere for a few months. For the cabin, just describe where it was.
