Hi, I am sponsoring my Husband and it' s Inland file. living together in Canada. I have a question about the sponsored in the Past in different application, like Different application means PR applications only or Visitor or super visa sponsor as well ?

I mean I was co sponsor in my In-laws visitor application, Do I have to mention this in IMM5532 form.

I have another question, like we already married in December but still haven't done the some custom ceremony due to cold weather. IMM5532 has last 11 question where they are asking about some more information if we want to share with them,. My question is as we have done all the bookings like for our functions, should I share those extra information there?

My view is it generally does not make sense to include that info, but you can update later. Fine to mention you decided to have a civil ceremony only for now.

There could be some reason to do it, but it depends on your application's strength in other areas. If it's not an arranged marriage and you're already living together, probably won't matter anyway.

My understanding is that IRCC expects 'full ceremonies' to be carried out before sponsorship in cases of arranged marriages.

Beyond that I can't comment (not my culture / not my situation), except to say that it may be better to delay applying until you complete them.

Others may opine.
