Hi all,
I live and work in USA but my citizenship is from Chile (I don't have a green card yet). I am married with a Chilean woman since a couple of months ago.

We are planning to visit Canada and I am in the process to fill out all the forms. One of them is the IMM5409E - Common Law form which needs to be signed by a "Commisioner of Oaths". Who needs to fill this form out? who is the Commisioner? what is the purpose of this form?
Any help would be welcome, thanks

Hi

You cannot be common-law if you are married. You do not need that form.
