I applied for visitor visa at 2015 and it was rejected. I am applying again and was wondering what is the correct answer for below questions:

b) Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?
c) Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada?

If you have been refused before please select YES. And state the reasons on the refusal letter in the box below the question. If you Lie you could be banned for 5years minimum for misrepresentation

Thanks for reply. I don't want to lie. Those questions are confusing me and it's not clear to me what is the main difference between them.

put yes,
dont lie. if you do, chances are slim and you WOULD be banned for 5 years. There are couple of cases in the forum who did exactly opposite nad faced circumstances

Also dont think that if you were rejected, there is something wrong you did. Maybe your file was weak, try to strengthen your file

Just tick "yes"... and state the refusal reasons below. It's one of the first things they check when they open your application. If you have also been refused by other Visa entry countries please don't forget to state it.

I applied for Italy visa on 2018 and got approved. Do you know what is the difference between b and c?

Because you must definitely do "C" before a "B" can happen
