Hi, I am filling out application for sponsoring my wife.

I am Naturalized Canadian.
She is in Canada with her work permit.

I have few questions regarding filling out.

First of all, for IMM1344E - application to sponsor, sponsorship agreement and undertaking
I do not have UCI or CI, I checked my landing paper. It is not there. and apparently my father did not apply for PR card when we are permanent resident.
So I do not have one.
Is it okay to leave it blank ? or should I write something on it? like N/A or explaining letter?

second question.

for IMM5669E - schedule A Backgound/Declaration

Question 12. addresses.
It says list all addresses since 18 birthday.
my wife is 40 and she can't remember actual address with postal code when she was in back home.
and she moved many times so she can't remember all of them. She knows which city and town but that is pretty much it.
So can we by pass it ? or do we have to write letter and attach it? or is there anyway we can write only ones she know or what she can remeber(only town and city)?

You need to make sure you don't have one, call CIC and double check. If you don't have one, leave it blank.

Ask family members. THIS part is actually important. Try VERY hard to get the months and years and addresses. Once again, call CIC to ask specifically but from my understanding, this is the one form they really get sticky on.

Thank you very much. I guess calling them is only option then.

sigh... finding out all addresses from age of 18 to 40 is going to be hard.

well at least we do have Canada addresses of last ten years.

1.) Dont worry about the UCI number, you can leave it blank and proceed.

2.) Unfortunately she would have to gather the address info, you dont have to be specific in regards to the old old address, just make sure that the City and the area is just about right and also make sure she dont leave a time gap when she moved to a new place for e.g if she was in ONTARIO from JANUARY 1ST 2000 TO JUNE 1ST2005 make sure the next place she moved to has to be the very next day which is JUNE 2ND 2005....Also you would have to fill this info in a seprate sheet and attach it with the document because they dont give you enuf space on that form...

hope that helps..

IMM5669 is very confusing.

I have filled out and signed my husband's background declaration. will this cause a problem?.I called cic call center about this before I did it and she said that I have to fill out and sign that's what I did..is this the reason why my pr application was transferred to local office here in toronto ICI etobicoke? thanks

This should have been filled out and signed by the principal applicant, your husband. This form allows them to conduct their background check on him. I don't know if thats why they transferred you to a local office but, since it isn't his signature (I'm assuming somewhere on the application his signature does appear) I can see if causing a problem at the least not being able to run their checks...

Well to find out if you're married you're supposed to send your marriage certificate. I would assume they would look for birth certificates and see if the parents are the same/one is the same etc. This is just from my assumption, nothing that is fact really.

Well if these people didn't included them on their original application and then they go and try to apply for them, they are being denied and therefore found out cus they turned around after saying on their application that there was no one and now they have a whole family, it states right on CIC website if you don't include them you can't sponsor them later... so in this aspect they are in fact ratting themselves out...
