Hi group,

Quick question...my Canadian wife (sponsor) asked me to sign IMM1344, which I did. In blue ink. Now, most of the handwritten forms specify use of black ink, but IMM1344 (which is not handwritten) does not specify ink color. I am very anxious to get the paperwork mailed in, and it will be two weeks before I see my wife again to re-sign in black ink, if need be.

Do any of you think a blue signature and date will matter?

Thanks

You could always just reprint and sign in black can't you?

Yes, I can reprint and re-sign. But it will be 2 weeks until I will be able to sign the hard copy of the form. My wife has the forms in Toronto and I can't make it back out there for two weeks.

I think it should be okay. if you signed and dated that's fine.
