IMM008 form adding dependents

I'm going through my wife's application and I see she has to add all of her dependents including her spouse. Does she have to do this even though I'm a Canadian citizen and I'm the one who is sponsoring her? How about our two kids? They are both Canadian citizens. In that case, does she not need to add any dependents at all? It's all very confusing.

You do not list family members who are already PRs or citizens. You only list them on the Additional Family Information form.

I have the same issue. I am Canadian and my two sons are also Canadian. I am sponsoring my husband who is the principal applicant. Should I include myself and two sons in the Dependents boxes on IMM0008 ?.
