Hi guys,

The question 5 of this form asks a FROM and TO dates along within occupation, employer, NOC, etc...

I don't have an end date, should I leave this field blank? or should I put the date in which my work permit expires?

Thanks!

For the job currently in progress, there is no need to enter an end date.

I put "present" in 'to' field

in my application IMM0008_8E, I mentioned Dec 23 2013 (date on my job reference letter) but I am still doing the same job and I am assuming that won't be a problem?

Please confirm

For 'To', you can put today's date(if you are filling the form out today). After printing, draw a single neat line over the date and write "present". Make a note to remember to do this.

How did you write present? by hand? because it only takes numbers if you are filling up the form on the computer...

Print the form then fill out by hand. I also put the date when I send the application in the 'to' field. As long as this date
is after gaining the 12 months experience, you should be fine.

Toby: I didn't mention To - Present in my form, I entered a date and I am assuming it is ok (From and To covers more than one year)?

Also, in you signature, it says:
AOR Received.: 05-Nov-2013
File Transfer...: 13-Nov-2013

What is file transfer and how do I know if the file is transferred or not? For my fiancee it only shows Application Received...

You can see the date when your file was transferred from CIO to CPP-O in your GCMS notes.

Ya, I did the same. I entered the date when I submitted my application, like the day before or something.

If you want to indicate that it is your current job, leave the "To" field blank, or put something like "present" if you're nervous about leaving fields blank.

I'm guessing people on fixed term contracts can put whatever future date their contract ends. I left it blank.
