Hi I am sponsoring my wife from Pakistan, in IMM0008 form question 3 is confusing me in information guide it says this "Indicate the total number of family members included in your application. This includes yourself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany you to Canada or not". No one else is coming with here do I still need to put her family members too?

Also in IMM5481 what should be the in Total number of person in 4,5 and 6 above should I put 1 because she is the only person coming. In 4 Yourself is set as 1.

Obviously put your wife name there.

The rest of the family, you dont need to list them. Unless you or your wife will want to sponser them later on.

If you don't plan to leave it blank....

Ok thanks, what about IMM5481 who is Yourself me or my wife so they mean me then I should put in 5 my wife and the total will become 2 am I right?

For CIC, "family members" mean (for simplicity's sake) a Husband, Wife and their kids. Parents and siblings of the husband and wife are not considered as family. If you do not have any kids, provide only your wife's details.

You, as a sponsor, are supposed to fill IMM5481 (Sponsorship Evaluation). Fill it from your perspective, hence "Yourself" in #4 means You. Box #5 A would be 1 (you are sponsoring only your wife). 6 A and B should be zero as you do not have any dependents. #7 would be 2 (you+your wife).
