If I am currently visiting my spouse while in Canada while we apply for my permanent residence, do I list Canada of my country of residence, even though I am a visitor? I realize that it does have an option under status for being a visitor... but I wanted to be sure, since I'm not "living" in Canada, just visiting. As for question 11, for place of entry do they want the specific port of entry I came through at, or just the city?

Thank you.

Edit: I have basically the same question about my residential address. Do I put where I currently am staying in Canada?

1.It depends how long will you stay in Canada
2.I think its concern to this:

IMM5669E
Schedule A Background/Declaration

12. List all addresses where you have lived since your 18 birthday or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent

3. I think leaving in the country while your application is in process can cause a delay.

I will be visiting for the duration of the application process, so 6+ months most likely.

Really? I've heard of multiple people visiting their spouse in Canada while the application processes and I haven't seen delays caused by it.

My main question is, in terms of the application, do I list where I'm staying here as "living" here, even though I'm a visitor?
