What online submission are you talking about? All the application must be printed, signed and mailed to CIC.

I skip this (did not type name electronically) and hand signed it only. Read the line before the signature box, for paper submission (as in this case for PGP, electronic signature is not required).

Have you applied for PGP sponsorship or Spousal sponsorship. Checklist for that form states if form is to be accepted as a part of paper application each person must complete it type name in signature box validate and print it and then sign. This is for spousal sponsorship. So unless the checklist was updated and this thing was omitted, the requirement remains the same.

What I mean by check the application kit is for you, is eIMM5669 part of your application package? Forget when it is updated. Is that specific form part of the package? If it is then you fill it otherwise fill the other version if that is in the package. I currently have no access to my laptop so can’t open the link but if you share the differences between the two forms would help in understanding.

I applied in August, today I received a message that I have to resubmit the IMM 5669 form. Form was signed and all info entered correctly. Went over it 10000 times. Apparently this happens quite often, that they ask applicant to resubmit and upload in GCKeys. So please make sure to keep a copy of file for future reference...
