IMM 5669 Schedule A Sponsorship kit comes with older version 2018 NEW form is 2019

1]I am not clear which form to use as this IMM 5669 Schedule A has 2 versions of the same form. One which comes with the Sponsorship kit is older version 2018 (11-2018) and need VALIDATION. However if you Google imm5669 it downloads IMM5669 (06-2019). I am confused which one is the right one?!

2]Does a dependent child coming with spouse, still fills this form aged 19 yrs ?

I used the IMM5669 form of 2018 that needs validation. In the guide it says the form needs to be validated, and that's the version of the form that is shown in the application kit. If the 2019 would be the required one, then I'm sure they would have that one in the application kit by now.

  1. the 2018 version is to be used with Kit 5289 (guide to sponsor spouse, common law partner and dependent children) and its the one that can be validated.
  2. Every dependent aged 18 and over needs to fill their own

How about passport ? which cannot be made at this Lockdown all over crona virus?Also PCC? I guess we apply as it is with a LOE

No no was trying to talk about applicant who is out of Canada . One need a Passport as per checklist. I phoned the agent she was so rude said " don't sponsor then, u got to have applicant's PPT copy ; but then told her the PPT area can be grayed out and we can attach a LOE, then she says yeah I guess u could do that! What an answer! We suggest them answers ! OMG They should be ready for all answers during this covid-19 how applicant produce a PPT.

I actually misunderstood and thought you meant passport photos. Not sure how such an issue can be handled, a passport is a required document. Do they have a National ID of some sort?

will the form even validate without entering passport details?

OH yeah they have 2-3 National IDs IN the older times a Passport was necessary until a VISA being issued, I/O used to tell applicant go ahead apply your passport . Rather it was a +VE point that applicant had no prior intentions to just go to Canada.

I talked to an IRCC employee, A passport is a requirement, unless you are from countries where there are conflicts etc, or you are a refugee.

I phoned again today she said it's OK to apply as long as u attach a LOE letter of expl
 
For guys who are Sponsoring spouses who has NO PASSPORT + PCC this COPY
+ PASTE FROM IRCC WEB is useful info:--

Permanent residence applications that we’re still processing

  • completing an immigration medical exam
No application in progress will be closed or refused because of documents missing due to COVID-19. We’ll automatically give you 90 days to complete these steps. Once you’re able to, complete the steps as soon as possible to avoid delays.

Biometrics deadline extended to 90 days
Even though your biometrics instruction letter (BIL) says you must complete this step in 30 days, we’ll automatically give you 90 days. You won’t need a new BIL.
 
We are trying to sponsor our son and we have been asked to fill out the following forms

IMM 5669 (11-2018 version)
IMM 1344 (06-2019 version)

We filled them out but were told that we filled the wrong versions.

If anyone has these versions, we would be grateful
