IMM 5669 - Membership/Association "Misrepresentation"

Hello Team,

I'll be submitting my CEC PR application shortly and I have picked up on an unintentional exclusion of information from previous CIC applications. It pertains to the question regarding listing of all organizations one has been associated with or a member of. I did not include a professional network I was a part of in 2011 in subsequent CIC applications. Should I include this on my PR application? How should this be handled?

If you have not submitted then include it. They're not going to "compare notes" from past applications.

I was under the impression that they do "compare notes" as you put it.. I suppose this would be hard to confirm.

You are supposed to declare everything however an error is an error and misrepresentation is misrepresentation.

As long as you declare it on the form, it'll be fine. If you withhold it at this point and they find out, you have a problem.

Declare it and everything will be fine.
