Good evening everyone,
I think this form is the hardest because it's the one my boyfriend and I have more doubts on. Question # 7 where it asks for the sponsor's 5 year work history, he doesn't remember very well around the 4-5 year mark. He used to live in the United States at that time and he doesn't remember all the exact dates. Can we have to put exact dates or can we approximate?

Also, question 8 asks for the addresses of every country he has lived, of course he can't remember all of them. Can we also approximate dates?

We don't want for our application to be revoked because of some inconstancies with the dates.

Thank you so much for helping us. We are so close in submitting our paperwork that we want to get everything completed correctly so that the VO doesn't deny us.

Thanks and have a great night!

I know, weird eh...! We put approximate dates too in ours....nothing else we could've done...

Also, no idea why they want time period for each residence.......I personally lived in 3 different residences since I was born, and there's no way I could ever remember the dates when I moved from one house to the next....I was a child and didn't pay attention to these things....heck not even my parents remember the dates... =P

Just make sure you have NO GAPS anywhere! I actually forgot to write what I did in August 2006... and the VO send me an email and asked to provide the missing information.

Good luck!

Just be as precise as you can. Explain where the approximate dates are and what you have tried to get all the information, and put it to the best of your knowledge.
Good luck,
Sweden

I'm in the same situation as you where I have no idea what my address was for the first 3 years of my life (I came to Canada after that)

I called CIC call centre and they told me to put a note stating that I do not remember the approximate dates of when i stayed there since I was a child but to write down the city and country in which I lived.

I hope that helps :)

Thank you all for your responses. We're going to follow your advice and put approximate dates, it's impossible to remember each address if you moved around a lot as a kid.

Make sure you attach an explanation that these are approximate dates. The visa officer will understand.

I think you should put the addresses that he lived with as much accuracy as possible. Remember, if he provided similar information before to Canadian Immigration then he should have kept a copy and use that same information now. If he never provided address history to CIC before then he can write the previous addresses with as much accuracy as his memory allows.

I came to Canada in FSW visa and I had to provide address history then, now I just had to add the Canadian Addresses that I lived at ;)

As for work history, do the same...
