IMM 5533 Police certificates (2 checkboxes for 1 certificate??)

Hi,
All the checkboxes in the Checklist are getting me confused.
For Question 4 (Police certificates and clearances) they ask for the police certificate from :

1) The country where you (or they) currently live, if you have lived there for six months or more, and
2) The country where you (or they) have spent most of your (their) life since the age of 18.

There is a checkbox next to each option (1 and 2).

My husband (PA) has lived in the same country all his life... so of course, there will only be one police certificate... but which checkbox should I check? Both?

Sorry for the late reply... I reinstalled Windows on my computer and I didn't have access to my files.

I ended up checking both boxes and writing "same country (Cuba)" between both lines. My application has been good so far, so I guess it was fine this way. I am over 12 months in the sponsorship process now, but that is because of the closure of the Canadian embassy in my husband's country.
