Hey guys, thanks for the earlier respond it has answered a lot of my questions, but here is another one regarding the 5490 and 5669 forms, where they say Interpret declaration.

On the 5669 it has in bold writing do not complete following sectiong now, you may be asked to sign in the representitive of a canadian government or official appointed by the canadian government.
my question here is, who would sign it?

But on the 5490 it says this section will be fully completed if an interpret assisted you?
who signs it, what if I helped out my wife filling out the documents, do I sign it? or does some professional language like a teacher english sign it?

Thanks again for all the help, really appreciate it

You don't sign this if you're helping your spouse. It is understood that spouses will work on the papers together and obviously discuss them and help each other. I would think the only time someone would have the interpreter section signed would be if there was a professional interpreter being used because neither spouse knew any English or French, I'm not certain on that, but I am certain that u will not sign the interpreter declaration when you're helping your spouse
