Hi I have a question for the second page of IMM 5481 Details of family members and persons included in undertakings in effect or not yet in effect

What does question 5B) ii) mean? Persons included in previous undertakings you signed as a sponsor and that are not yet in effect
Is my spouse who I am sponsoring currently supposed to go under this? he is not yet in effect, but he is not a previous undertaking.

Also, question 6 A). asks Your spouse or common-law partner if not listed in Section C of your Application to Sponsor and Udertaking (IMM 1344A) or in 5. B) above.
My spouse IS listed in IMM 1344A but NOT in 5 B above. Just to get a piece of mind, I do write N/A for this question??

Thanks!!

For 5Bii. I put 0 because I (principal applicant) was already accounted for in 5A (where your husband should be accounted for as well). If you have never sponsored before or applied to sponosor before your gonna have alot of 0's in that part like our application.

For 6 it says "if not included in 5", not 5B, you would put 0 for 6A because your husband is included in 5.

What do they mean by Net Personal Income under, is it net of tax or gross income?

Thank you mud504!!!

I was actually talking about page 2!!.. but you just helped me realize that page 2 is connected with the questions on page 1!!
yes my spouse is listed in 5a!! and alll the rest are zero's!! so that makes page 2 not apply to me!
thanks!!!

Actually, net income as per revenue canada is not income after tax, it is income after deductions such RRSP and other deductible. Your net income should gross before taxes, check on Notice of assessment or gross yearly income. Hope I am not confusing you.

Re: IMM 5481 question at 5 - B - i) previous undertaking

I am sponsoring my spouse. My spouse has no dependance. Thus, at question 4=1 (which is myself), 5-A)=1 (which is my current undertaking).
I have problem with 5 -B- i). I had previous undertaking 6 years plus ago. What will be my answer at 5 -b- i)? "still in effect": how long is it considered in effect? Is 6 years plus not in effect or still in effect?
Thanks
